Desk Stick / UsageMonitor

Always-on-top macOS overlay that watches local Cursor / agent credit burn, with a HIDE pill, a menu-bar toggle and a big KILL CREDITS button that stops local agent workers. (Cloud agents must still be stopped in the Cursor UI.)

Build / run

cd ~/UsageMonitor
python3 -m pip install -r requirements.txt
python3 usage_monitor.py   # or double-click run.command
# stop: double-click stop.command

Open in Cursor and build

  1. Open the project folder in Cursor (File → Open Folder, or cursor ~/UsageMonitor).
  2. Press ⌘L and ask the agent to read the project and build it.
  3. Or run headless from Terminal:
cursor-agent -p --force "Build Desk Stick / UsageMonitor, fix any errors, and summarize what changed"
